COMPANY HISTORY
1948
Dr. Willi Lüftner and his wife Emmi found the family firm, with the introduction of a bus service between Wörgl and the Wildschönau.
1949
The first Lüftner travel agency is opened and in the same year the first English guests are carried on Lüftner vehicles. In the years that follow other coaching offices and travel agencies within the Tirol and a car dealership in Innsbruck are opened.
1972
Following Willi Lüftner\\'s death, his sons Roman, Christof and Wolfgang take over the family business. In the years that followed independent companies for the coaching, incoming, and travel agency/outgoing sections are established.
Where we are today
Coach-department
Our coaching company is one of the largest and most successful transport companies in western Austria, due mainly to the vast experience we have gained over the years. We currently carry over 1.5 million passengers per year.
Incoming
We offer tailor made coach tours throughout Europe and Ski holidays in Austria for tour operators and travel companies in Europe, North America and Asia.
Travel agency & Tour operator
The travel agency section of the company has, in recent years, begun to make a name for itself as a tour operator, offering guided tours and round trips as well as operating as a retail travel agency.
